A tiny gardening robot on an empty space station finds the last seed and refuses to give up on it.

For 4,012 days, Sprout has tended a greenhouse where nothing grows. Then, under the rubble, it finds a single seed. Bolt, the station's grumpy old maintenance robot, says it's hopeless. Sprout waters the seed every day for forty days, and when the first flower opens, even Bolt wants to help.
